Several studios in Berlin produce AI videos: AI-native studios such as PROMPTR, SPAICE and Heisenberg Studio, and established film producers that added AI to their work, such as Die Filmagentur, EASYdoesit and urbanuncut. This page lists seven of them with a verified Berlin address, what each one focuses on, and what to ask before you hire one.
Disclosure: this page is published by That Works Media, which is one of the agencies listed. The list is alphabetical, not a ranking. No agency paid to be included.
How we selected the agencies
An agency is on this list if all three apply:
- Berlin address: its own website or imprint names an office in Berlin.
- AI video as a service: its website offers fully AI-generated or hybrid (filmed plus AI) video production.
- Named client work: its website shows at least three published projects for named clients, so you can watch real work before you get in touch.
Agencies that serve Berlin from another city are not listed. The descriptions only state what each agency says on its own website; we have not worked with the other studios and don’t rate them. Last checked: 2 October 2026. If your Berlin studio meets the criteria and is missing, or a detail has changed, let us know.

How to choose an AI video agency
Ask every agency the same questions and compare the answers:
- Full AI, hybrid or a classic shoot? A good agency tells you honestly which one suits your project, including when AI is the wrong choice.
- Work samples in your style: ask for AI work similar to what you need, not only the showreel.
- Rights: which tools are used, and what usage rights you receive for commercial use.
- Labelling: since 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires realistic AI-generated images, video and voices (deepfakes) to be disclosed. Ask how the agency handles it. Details: labelling rules for AI ads (in German).
- Price and revisions: a written range, how many revision rounds are included, and what counts as a change.
What does an AI video cost?
Most of the agencies above quote per project. Prices depend on length, how much is filmed, how many versions you need, and how realistic the result must be. Our own price ranges, with examples, are on what an AI commercial costs and what an AI video costs (both in German). Ask other agencies for a written range so you can compare.
Which AI tools do agencies use?
Most studios combine several video models rather than relying on one. In autumn 2026 the common ones are Google Veo 3.1, Kling 3.0, Runway Gen-4.5 and Seedance 2.0; OpenAI discontinued Sora in 2026. For the differences, prices and when to use which, see our comparison of AI video tools. For examples of finished AI spots by global brands, see the best AI commercials.
Frequently asked questions
Which agencies in Berlin make AI commercials?
Among the studios with a Berlin office that offer AI commercials on their website are Die Filmagentur, EASYdoesit, Heisenberg Studio, PROMPTR, SPAICE, That Works Media and urbanuncut. Their focus differs, from AI-native studios to film producers that combine shoots and AI.
Is a full AI video or a hybrid production better?
Full AI suits stylised worlds, concepts that would be expensive to film, and many versions of one idea. Hybrid production suits products, people and places that have to look exactly like the real thing: those are filmed, and AI adds scenes, backgrounds or versions.
Do AI videos have to be labelled?
Often, yes. Since 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires anyone who publishes realistic AI-generated images, video or voices (deepfakes) to disclose it. Clearly artistic or satirical work has lighter duties. In Germany, hiding AI use in ads can also be unfair competition.
Can I make AI videos myself instead of hiring an agency?
Yes, the tools are open to everyone. Agencies add the parts the tools don’t: the idea and script, consistent characters and products across shots, sound and editing, rights clearance and labelling. For a short social clip, doing it yourself can be enough; for a campaign, an agency usually saves time.
